‘Restless’ is the first of three singles from award-winning Americana/ Folk duo Roswell’s second studio EP, coming soon in February 2020.
Out on Friday, November 1, ‘Restless’ is part confessional, part protest song. It bridges the gap between a thirst for personal progress and dissatisfaction with world politics – touching on issues such as the UK’s economic crisis, climate change and mental health.
The track features stirring three-part vocal harmonies and energetic banjo, underpinned by an accompaniment of guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bass and percussion. It was recorded and produced by Dan Wilde at Gladeside Studio, Cambridge.

I’m tired of this small-town mood, this station wagon town,
Where all the roads are dead ends and the only way is down.

While the news is full of stories of police brutality.
